First of all, "A Midsummer Night's Dream" is yet another play written by the amazing Shakespeare. "A Midsummer Night's Dream" is a play about fairies and mortals wherein the mortals have a problem about love where one loves the other but the other doesn't while the fairies are the ones trying to fix the problem but at first, failed miserably. They do resolve the conflict and the play ends with a happy note. For me, the part with the most intensity was Act III, Scene 2.
In Act III, Scene 2, Puck realizes his mistake. He enchanted the wrong man because they saw Demetrius and Hermia together, not Demetrius and Helena. Oberon then commands Puck to fix the mess. Meanwhile, Demetrius gets tired of Hermia so he falls asleep while Hermia goes away. Puck then finds Demetrius and pours the love potion on his eyelids and Hermia, together with Lysander, who was still pledging his love to her (because of the potion), enters angry that Lysander is mocking her. Demetrius is awakened and he sees Helena so he falls in love with her. Helena then believes that they are mocking her.
Hermia then enters and sees that Lysander and Demetrius are declaring their love for Helena. Hermia gets angry and Helena thinks that Hermia was also mocking her. The two men suddenly get ready to fight each other for Helena's love. Hermia then holds Lysander back. Hermia then says to Helena that she stole Lysander from her by using her height since Helena is tall and Hermia is short. Hermia gets angry with Helena and threatens to hurt her eyes. Helena gets scared since she knows that Hermia is quicker in fighting. The two men the vow to protect Helena but they get angry and storm off to have a duel. Helena runs away and Hermia gets amused of what happened and leaves.
Oberon then orders Puck to stop the fight of the two men. Puck stops the fight by confusing the two men by using their voices until they are lost.
As you can see, this scene is really intense. They exchanged harmful words and all of them were really confused. Especially the scene where the two girls were revealing stuff they didn't tell each other about. It made the scene really thrilling and intriguing because we know that they are not affected in any spells yet they are giving out harsh words.
The play is a little bit confusing because there are many sub plots so no one can really tell which part is the climax. But you know what, it doesn't matter since the play was really good, at least for me, since I really like magic and all things related to it. The play has a lot of lessons and values to get that we should also apply in our life.
