Jonaz: This is really it. I'm gonna meet Lady Gaga. I'm so excited. Okay, the time is 2:00 and we will meet at 2:15 at the coffee shop nearby. Okay, Jonaz, this is the first time you will meet your idol but calm yourself, this is what you've always wanted. I should really go now.
-at the coffee shop-
Jonaz: I'm here at exactly 2:15. Now where is she? Oh my, there she is! She's so pretty, I can not. She looks so simple yet still pretty. Okay, be brave Jonaz. Hey! L-lad-y-y G-gaga!
LG: Hi! Nice to meet you Jonaz! By the way, don't call me Lady Gaga, I'm Stefani right now.
Jonaz: O-okay La--I mean, Stefani. I'm just really happy that I'm actually talking to you right now.
LG: Don't worry. I won't bite here come sit with me. I already ordered you a drink.
Jonaz: OMG, thanks! Umm, could you please pinch me so that I would know that is not just a dream.
LG: Oh, okay. *pinches* Now let me kiss you too! *kisses cheek*
Jonaz: Okay, I'm about to faint.
LG: Don't worry, Jonaz.
Jonaz: Wooh, I still can't believe this is happening. By the way, why did you agree to meet up in this coffee shop? Aren't there other fans who would like to meet you?
LG: Yeah, there are other more gorgeous people like you but don't tell this to anyone. I'm actually not allowed to meet any fans. People in the studio are paranoid that my fans will kill me.
Jonaz: That's scary. I'm really happy that you gave an effort to meet me but why?
LG: I also don't know. Maybe it's just that I felt that you were really a good fan and I don't want to let my fans down.
Jonaz: Oh, I'm so flattered.
Barista: For Stefani!
Jonaz: Oh, I will get that. This is all I could do for you. *gets drinks* Here. Hey this is my favorite flavor of coffee here. Caramel frappuccino. Thanks a lot!
LG: Don't mention it. Okay so tell me about yourself.
Jonaz: Okay, I'm a really big fan of you both as Stefani and Lady Gaga. I'm actually a frustrated dancer. Did you know that I know the choreography to some of your songs? Those are Bad Romance, Venus, Applause, Do What U Want and other more. I also know the full choreography to Judas. I learn them by watching your videos on repeat.
LG: OMG, that's wonderful. You wouldn't mind showing them to me next time?
Jonaz: Sure. I would be glad to. Speaking of Judas, what did you feel when people were associating you as an Anti-Christ?
LG: To tell you honestly, I was really saddened by the thought. Jesus has always been my support, my guide, and my everything. I owe all of this to Him.
Jonaz: As I expected. I knew that you weren't a bad person. You just like to use powerful characters. People nowadays just judge you for the title of your songs and your lyrics. They don't notice how deep and powerful the meaning of your songs are.
LG: Don't worry about them. People have their own taste of music and you can't blame them.
Jonaz: I know but they bash you.
LG: Let them. As long as I know who I really am inside, that is what all that matters. I just let them do what they want with my body.
Jonaz: I freaking know right. Okay, I also like to play the piano and violin and I know a lot of songs.
LG: Oh, that's good. We're the same then. I started playing the piano at a young age.
Jonaz: I don't know why but I actually don't know any songs made by you. I know some Katy Perry songs and other more. Speaking of Katy Perry, what do you feel when you are compared to other artists?
LG: Really sad because Katy Perry and I are good friends and the charts don't matter to me. My fans are what matter to me.
Jonaz: I love you! This is one of the reasons why I really love you. Aside from being talented and unique, you really are kind and you really think of your fans.
LG: Oh thank you very much. I would do anything for my babies.
Jonaz: So how is your love life?
LG: Oh that escalated quickly but everything's fine. Taylor is helping me and I am helping Taylor.
Jonaz: Aww, that's so sweet! I actually have a crush but we rarely talk because we have different schools.
LG: Oh, don't worry honey. Just believe, okay? There is a right time and place for love. If you do your best and wait patiently at the same time, everything will work out.
Jonaz: Omg thanks, Stefani! You really inspire a lot of people.
LG: Don't worry about it. Anything for my babies.
Jonaz: Stefani, you should know that I'm not rich. I can't buy your albums, posters, and other more but know this. I am a true little monster and I will always be no matter what the haters say.
LG: Oh that's okay honey. You being there for me is enough to support me. Actually, during the BTW ball tour, I was already exhausted, my body ached, and I just felt like giving up but then my fans, you little monsters, kept me going. Your encouragement was a healing force to me but then I couldn't handle the stress anymore and my hip broke. I had to cancel my tours. I was really down and I used a lot of "dope" but then I noticed that you, my babies, were still supporting me. It just made me tear up and it even inspired me to write a songs entitled "Applause." I live for the applause, your applause. Your applause is what keeps me going and your applause has what let me get over my drugs since it wasn't only destroying me, it was also destroying my family, my friends, and my fans. It was hard letting go of drugs but I need you more than "dope."
Jonaz: (Tearing up) Those words are amazing. Hug me please!
LG: Here, don't worry.
Jonaz: (Tears bursts) I LOVE YOU GAGA!
LG: I love you too! Now, don't cry.
Jonaz: Okay, (Wiping off tears)
LG; You okay now?
Jonaz: Yehp, I am. Sorry about that. I just really loved your message.
LG: Ahihi.
Jonaz: Never change, alright? The tiniest things you do always make me smile. Change of your hair or wig, change of clothes, and other more. Even though I'm in a bad mood, I listen to your songs, and then you also upload pictures of yourself with different looks every time and it just lifts up my mind.
LG: (Begins to tear up)
Jonaz: Aww, I'm sorry.
LG: It's okay. I was really touched of your message. Hey do you mind showing me your dance moves? It would really make my year complete. Seeing my fans dance live instead of just watching them in YouTube.
Jonaz: Really? Okay but can we go to my house? I'm kind of embarrassed to dance in public.
LG: Oh, don't worry. Don't be shy.
Jonaz: Sorry but I insist to go home.
LG: Oh, okay if you say so. I don't mind.
Jonaz: (We go to our house. I performed all of the choreography I know for her and she even corrected some of the moves. It was really fun. She even took a video of me dancing to Judas. She even played some of her hits in the piano and danced. It was like a concert just for me. But then, time was just harsh. We had to say our goodbyes.)
LG: Oh no, the studio is calling. Let me answer this. (holds up phone) Uh-huh. Uh-huh. I'm just right around the corner. Don't worry, I'll go back now. Okay. Okay. Bye! (hangs up phone) Jonaz, it was really nice meeting you! I hope we can do this again next time.
Jonaz: Oh no, you're leaving? That's really sad but it's okay at least I met you personally. I would be glad to have this meet up again!
LG: Okay, take care! Oh wait. (Hands Jonaz tickets) These are VIP tickets, free of charge of course.
Jonaz: What? You're really giving this to me? Thank you so much!
LG: Don't worry about it. It's nothing compared to what you have done for me.
Jonaz: No, it's quite the opposite actually.
LG: Oh just let it be. Here, let's take have a picture together!
Jonaz: But, I'm ugly.
LG: No one is ugly, my baby. Okay, 3-2-1. (Phone rings) I really need to go now. Okay, Bye!
Jonaz: Bye! I LOVE YOU! And Lady Gaga, my biggest idol, leaves. It was really fun. Saying goodbye was the most painful part. But, I know, I'm sure, that we will meet again. It's okay if she doesn't remember me but I will always be a fan of her. *holds tickets to his heart* Now to share my story to the world. As I write this, I listen to Ste-- I mean, Lady Gaga's newest album, ARTPOP.

The 9 Stations of Violations | CNSHS
Dan was just a simple boy. He was in Grade 6 attending a school in Maragondon. After lunch, since classes was over, he decided to take a different route to his home. Along the way he saw a man in his 20s. He asked why was Bob going alone. The man introduced himself as Gil and decided to go along with Dan. Dan was scared at first but then he trusted Gil. As they walk, they saw a big school. It was CNSHS. Gil said that he is an alumnus of the school and asked Dan if he wanted to go inside. Engraved on the side of the school was "Gather all hope ye who enter here." Gil says to Dante don't be scared and said that everything will be fine. He also said that there are a total of 9 stations inside. They enter and the gate closes on them so they have no choice but to venture forward.
The first station was the gate, also known as the Forgetful. In here, Dan saw students standing on a group full of men with long hair, students without their ID, students with different colored socks, people looking at their watches and other more. A guard oversees the group and the students say "I forgot" or "I didn't know" in many times. The guard then holds a paper and pen and asks the students to write their names on the paper so that they won't "forget" what they have done. Gil asks Dan not to look at them for they will get angry since they are free to move about.
The second station was the guidance center, which was also known as the Offenders. Dan sees students crying with people he assumed to be parents who were also crying. Gil explained that the students here are the ones who offended teachers, fellow classmates, and staff. He said that the head guidance teacher talks to the students and parents. They have to endure the lecture for hours and since they offended people, they were forced to look in front of the mirror and let them see the mistakes they committed. The teacher in the guidance center was also the one who chooses which station does a student go in. Dan afraid to be mistaken as one of the offenders, moves to the next station and Gil follows.
The third station was the HE room or the Noisy. Gil asked Dan to cover his ears for their noise is contagious and it will make you part of them. Dan saw noisy students outside of the room wherein some were even shouting but inside of the room were quiet people. Dan then saw a teacher playing the piano inside. Gil explained that students are forced to stay quiet and listen to the beautiful music so that they will realize that they can hear something pleasant when they are quiet. Dan and Gil move on to the next station.
The fourth station was the field or the Cutters. Dan noticed that it was full of untrimmed grass and students were there sitting with books in hand. Gil explained that those students are called Cutters and since they are Cutters, they were placed there to "cut" the tall grass. This will to surely teach them a lesson with the books of the subjects they cut. As the students were busy reading, they didn't even notice the duo so the duo left.
The fifth station was the scout rooms, also called as the Scandalous. Dan observed that there were two groups of people, facing each other oppositely, in here in two different rooms and two teachers were standing between them . Gil explained that the room to the left is the GSP room while the one to the right is the BSP room. Naturally, the girls are in the GSP room while the boys are in the BSP room. Gil said that each pair of students here are reported to did PDA or public display of affection. The teachers between them are watching their sides. They are forced to stay away from their other "half" and that for now, they shouldn't do PDA for they are still too young.
The sixth station was the gym, also called the Vandalizers. Dan can only see it from afar but he noticed a stage where in five students were standing on it. Then there are multiple lines of students. Gil said that the one on the stage is the battalion commander and the students in lines are students who vandalized the school property. They are forced to stand still for even in the slightest move, they will be asked to do a minimum of 15 squats or any other exercise. They are forced to also hold two pens in each hand to which the leaders refer to as "bananas" for some reason. One of the students sees the two and was then forced to do 15 squats. Gil pushes Dan to the next station.
The seventh station was the canteen, also known as the Tongues. Dan observed that there were students in line with food in hand. He also observed that there were no price labels. Gil explained that these students are students who doesn't follow the English speaking campaign. Over the counter are teachers and staff that don't know how to understand any language except English. So for the student to satisfy his hunger and thirst, he has to speak in English for him to pay what he got. Dan then said that he is proud of himself since he always speaks in English in his school. The two then went to the next station.
The eight station was the LRC or the Lazies. Dan observed that sweaty students were reading and writing at the same time. Dante explained that the students here were lazy so they had to get several books and then write a book report about each book. Aside from the many books they have to read and write about, it was also very, very hot inside. Dan seeing the many books, asked Gil to move on to the next and final station.
The ninth and final station was the principal's office, also known as the Hopeless. Dan then observed that the students here were crying with their parents. Gil explained that these people had committed the worst of the violations, just like cheating or repeating offences, and that there is no choice but to have them expelled, never to reach Purgatory or Paradise or true happiness.which was inside the school. The principal talks to the hopeless and tells them of the bitter news. They were so depressed for they let go of such an amazing opportunity to grow and learn inside the school.
Dan sad for the students ask Gil for them to leave but it requires Dan to hop on the back of Gil for they have to climb up the gate to get to the other side. A hole in the shape of a diploma is on the side of the gate and since they have no diploma, there is no other choice. Gil then explained that one can get a diploma by successfully reaching Paradise or graduation by going through Purgatory which are the years inside. They successfully got out and Gil went along with Dan to his house. They said there farewells and Gil left. Meanwhile, Dan is very happy since he found out that CNSHS will be a good place to be disciplined and to learn at the same time. He didn't think that those stations were something to push away students, but to make them closer to the school. Dan now knows where to go to high school.

Texting | and English Knowledge
These days, technology is everywhere. Things are made easier for us and one of those things is the cellphone. Through the cellphone, we communicate with our friends, family, and other more. We text to them to catch up with them and to know how they are doing. Most teenagers own cellphones and usually send a large number of text messages each day. I think that texting is also the same as chatting. Cellphone owners today now use abbreviations or shortcuts to save space and time in sending a message.
Many teachers, particularly language teachers, are disappointed with this. They think that texting makes a student have poor comprehension in their subjects especially when they see grammar mistakes, wrong spellings, and poor punctuation. Sometimes, the problem isn't with texting, but with the student himself. As a matter of fact, texting is a good way of practicing language because one can use shortcuts yet still understand what the message trying to say and it makes communication faster.
I also own a cellphone but I seldom use it. I only use it when we are travelling or for emergency purposes. Meanwhile in chatting, I am able to put more emotion to my messages. I sometimes put many of the same letter in a word like "heeyyyy" and it just shows how bored I really am. Texting or chatting isn't really that bad. As long as you know the rules in the language, texting shouldn't affect your formal English.

Semestral Break | A Time to Relax
Semestral break is what every student needs. A time to relax from all the school work and pressure. A time to have fun, and even with bond with families or friends. It was music in my ears when I heard that we will have our semestral break but then I remembered that it is also the time wherein the teachers will give a bunch of homework or projects. It made me think that it is not really a break but just school at home but to my surprise, the teachers really didn't give those much things to do.
The first night of our semestral break, I tried to do all of the homework needed but I wasn't able to do it. Even though I kept on thinking that I should do this so that I will be worry-free for the next coming days but laziness was just too powerful. I mainly stayed home and only went out once because of an output we needed to pass for the seminar I attended with my seminar mates. We had really fun and we enjoyed because we got to know more about each other.
Other than that, I was just at home and sometimes I am even alone but it was okay since I was able to spend my time by watching gaming videos on YouTube. People might think that I'm weird but I don't have the money to buy the games that in YouTube. It is so worth it though because some of them are really hilarious and some even gave me new insights about life. I mainly watched Cryaotic, SeaNanners, PewDiePie, and then Minx. I even downloaded a game called "Dead Trigger 2" which is a first-person shooter game. It is very addicting and I recommend people to play it if they are interested in this kind of stuff. I will usually stay up very late at night yet I don't regret anything.
I took a rest from those things and just watched "vines". I saw a vine about digital painting and I thought that I should also make a digital painting with an actual face unlike my past works which don't have faces. You can probably guess who's picture I got to do it and it was Ella's. I asked many people to see my progress and to check if it looks like her and then after that I became satisfied.
I was also getting updated with Lady Gaga through a group and I'm just really addicted to her. I was listening to her new songs nonstop each night. My sister would even be annoyed that I keep on repeating and repeating the song and I try to keep it as down as possible for her because my mom would go alongside with her. I also saw new sides of Lady Gaga that made me love her more.
My sister, who is rarely home, came home on November 1 and after going to the cemetery which is literally just behind our house and just a door away from the gym below us, we went to our Aunt's house and discovered that my cousin went home and brought something with her but it was still in her stomach or rather, womb. I was just happy for her and I can't wait to see what "she" will look like and also thank to "her", our two families are finally getting better and also, my other cousin who was like away for I think more than 3 years, was finally going back to the Philippines sometime in January.
Everyday from the start to the end of our break just went like that. I just don't like all of the horror-related stuff shown on TV. I did the projects bit by bit so that I won't have a hard time at the day before classes resume. As a matter of fact, I just needed to add a few more details to my projects and I will be finished so I wasn't really that pressured and I was even able to watch more videos. I was a little sad though because everything went so fast.
For me, my semestral break was really worth it if we focus on my personal life. I learned a lot of things and I was able to catch up with relatives because they were away for like a long time. My sisters and I had bonding moments with our midnight snacks and other more stuff. Meanwhile, if we focus on my school life, it is not looking so good because I haven't studied any of the future topics. I did not even try to open a single book that I brought home so those books were just merely props for the semestral break. I'm really happy with what happened with my semestral break because it is one of the best breaks ever. I hope this coming Christmas break will be better.

Is this | Love?
Love is such an amazing thing. It can make what seems impossible, possible. It knows no boundaries yet moves in very mysterious ways. It even makes people have butterflies in their stomach. It pushes people to do unbelievable things. Love is sacrifice, hope, and faith.
Love differs from person to person. It can be seeing your crush even though he or she won't even look back. It can also be holding each other's hands as you stroll around the corner but for me, love is being in the same classroom with your crush. Yes, I am and still in love with my classmate not from here, but from my elementary school. She is actually one of my best friends. Her nickname is Ella and I even made a "ship" name for us even though it wasn't really ship because it was one sided, I guess. I called our ship "Donutella" which is the combination of Donut (my old nickname) and Ella. I actually got it from a to be released song by my idol, Lady Gaga, and it is actually "Donatella". I also love Lady Gaga but let us not talk about that. I remembered this one time where I posted my status as Donutella and to my shock, she was the one who commented first and I was really embarrassed. Good thing I was able to think of an excuse that it was just a song.
Being in love is very complicated. It was some kind of torture that I really like to experience no matter how it hurts. It is like just seeing her is enough to make the whole day complete even though you don't get to talk that much. We like to hang out together with our other best friends but she usually talks to the others, not really me but it was okay because seeing her is enough for me. Time passed and we separated our ways because of high school but it was okay since I could still talk to her but I was saddened to see her being "shipped" with someone else. It really hurt me even though I don't have the right to be and I just thought to myself, seeing her happy is just enough even without me. By the way, I am not one of those creepy stalkers that visit someone's profile everyday. I just happened to see a photo of them together in my news feed. But now, I don't get to see some pictures of them together anymore so I think that's a good sign, well at least for me, I guess. I remember that I even made my first minimalist poster after her and I even sent it to her hoping that she will like it and I was so glad she did.
For me, love is really about having this feeling whenever you see someone, be with someone, and even hear someone. A feeling that is very hard to explain yet you know it's there. Love is something that you just not see, smell, or hear but it is something that you feel within yourself.
I love her mainly because of a source of inspiration. She makes me pursue my studies further so that I will be successful in the future or at least into someone that will make her say to her other friends "hey, this guy is my best friend". Every time I'm with others, I try to think that that someone is Ella because I try to think what course of movements will make Ella like me more or something like that.
Ella is everything I could look for in a girl. She is kind, intelligent, witty, fun to hang out with, not those dramatic girls, beautiful, and she also has glasses and side bangs. I don't know why but glasses and side bands are a turn on for me. I'm so weird. As you can see, you can probably tell how I am still in love with her. Even if we grow up and we won't be together and we will have our own families, I will treasure every moment we have shared with each other since she will and will always be my first true love.

The one on the left is me (I wish) and the girl on the right is her. The photo on the right was the thing I was talking about earlier that I sent to her before. By the way, I didn't want to post an actual picture of her because I think that would be too creepy and it would violate her and I don't want to ask for her permission.

Teachers - are Heroes
A hero doesn't always have to be someone who has superpowers, or someone who has lots of costly gadgets to kill all the villains. For me, a hero is someone who has saved your life, or given you the strength to hold on. I consider these people my heroes because they have saved my life from all of the hardships I have faced. They gave me lessons that I have engraved in my heart. They handle a lot of people yet are still able to pull through each day They are simple yet amazing. You probably guessed who they are, they are my teachers.
Let's take in an example. Let's plant a seedling. The seedling gets enough sunlight, water, and nutrients. Each day, even not noticeable, it grows a little until we suddenly notice that it is already the tallest tree in the area yet still holding onto the earth. The plant represents us, students, and the needs of the plants are the teachers. We may not notice it but as the teacher discusses his lessons, he shares a little bit of his life. These life lessons make each student think deeper of what has to come in the future. Days will pass until one finally graduates and is free from school. Then that person receives a good business and can be even known to the whole world yet still he will always remember all of those teachers who had made him as successful as he is now yet still humble. This part of our life is represented by the tallest tree yet still holding onto the earth. We never let things go over our heads and it is thanks to our teachers. Each day, they have molded us into good members of the society. They are the lights that we can ask for advice whenever we feel that we are about to fall into the darkness. They are the ones who taught their students how to live.
Teachers are really amazing people. Sometimes, they don't even get to sleep to design the perfect plan for the students. This just shows how teachers, even though not receiving justified salary, they will do whatever it takes, just to mold us into good leaders. They get strict sometimes but we know ourselves that deep inside that strictness is a heart pure of kindness because we know that they are doing those things because they love and care for us. Teachers are the ones who paved our way to our brighter days. The love of a teacher is an everlasting love. Sometimes, we may forget our teachers but our teacher won't forget us.

Fate - Life's Design
Inevitable Fate
A Tragic Romance
There
was once a ship that sailed gently through the seas. Boarded were hundreds of
people and among them were the two infants, Benedick and Beatrice. They were
together for some unknown reason but danger struck. A hard-blowing,
strong-raining storm greeted them and cut the ship in half. Unfortunately, the
two babies were separated but thankfully, two ships came to their help.
Benedick was rescued by Montaboat, owned by the Montagues, and Beatrice was
rescued by Capuship which was owned by the Capulets.
The
Montagues and Capulets have been rivals for years and it seemed that their
rivalry wouldn’t end without blood. Years passed, both families had loved their
own adopted child like they were their own. Beatrice was given great care and
grew as a gorgeous maiden, while Benedick grew as a brave and handsome young
man. Never did they saw each other, but after 20 years, their lives met a life-changing
turning point.
Three
witches came to visit Montague to tell him about their prophecy. With their
ugly faces and crooked teeth, together with their long, sharp and dirty
fingernails, Lady Montague wished to send them away but Montague disagreed
after finding out that their prophecy was of great news for his own power. The
three witches called forth 3 spirits. The first spirit showed a knight wearing
a crown, signifying that Montague would be the new king of Verona. Eager to
make this true, Montague plotted a plan to kill King Escalus. He succeeded and
like what the prophecy said, he became the King.
However,
his felicity was short-lived due to the prophecy of the three witches given by
the remaining spirits. The second was an infant in a pool of blood, showing
that he would be killed by a man not born of woman. The third was an armored
head with blood dripping out of its opening. He didn't seem to mind the
prophecies at first and went on with his plan to kill his rival, the Capulets.
Battles were fought but at the end, Capulet confesses that he was untimely
ripped and he beheaded Montague with a triumph smile on his face.
Benedick
was distraught and wanted revenge for his father. He promised never to marry
and to spend all his remaining years avenging his father holy. But fate never
seems to run out of surprises. Benedick and Beatrice's lives would meet a
bittersweet turn.
As
the days near the 21st birthday of Beatrice everyone helped in the
preparation for this grandest occasion. They spent days on preparation. While
passing the market, Benedick overheard gossips about the beauty of Beatrice and
became eager to see her himself but probably just for his revenge. The big day
came, and Benedick wore a disguise and went to the party. There he saw Beatrice
staring at him with an awe expression on her face. Their eyes met and it seemed
like the world just faded away and left nothing but the two of them alone. They
fell in love at the first sight and Benedick's crave for revenge for his father
and his belief that he'll never marry vanished into thin air. He forgot about
the anger he felt for the Capulets.
Days
passed and the King Capulet wanted Beatrice to marry a nobleman named Paris.
Beatrice refused to and told her father that she's in love with Benedick. The
King Capulet turned red with fury. He told Beatrice that if she would disobey
his command, he'll have her either executed or sent to the monastery to be a
nun. Beatrice went to Friar Lawrence for help and was given the potion that
would stop her pulse for 48 hours. She told Benedick of the escape plan. When
the night came and Beatrice's body was transferred in the family tomb, she
finally woke up and ran into the forest with Benedick. However, Paris saw what
happened and followed them into the forest.
Paris
allies with Puck, a mischievous fairy, and ordered him to pour a love spell on
the lips of the sleeping Beatrice while Benedick was out hunting. Puck followed
Paris, and when Beatrice woke up, she immediately fell in love with Paris and
they kissed thoroughly. Benedick saw what happened and got so enraged but chose
to hide it first. When the spell faded, Beatrice couldn't remember what
happened. They decided to go and get married on a small village. During the
marriage, Benedick proclaimed and told everyone that Beatrice was a whore. He
was so furious with Beatrice and his initial desire for revenge returned.
He
left Beatrice on the village and ventured back to Verona to kill King Capulet.
After arriving, he immediately sought the senators and other officials and
convinced them to conspire against the King.
Before
the planned assassination, while Benedick in his room, a spirit named Ariel
came to visit him and deliver news that would surely twist and crush his soul.
Ariel told him that he(Ariel) is the spirit guardian of his parents and that
when they died, he had watched over Benedick all through the years. Ariel also
told Benedick about Beatrice's innocence and that it was all Paris and Puck's
fault. Benedick immediately felt guilty, sorry, and horrible all at the same
time. He had left Beatrice alone; he had accused her of being a whore yet the
truth she was innocent and faithful all those time. He realized that he never
stopped loving Beatrice and that he was just consumed by his rage. He changed
his mind about assassinating King Capulet. He was about to go and stop the
other senators when he freezes on his feet and felt the world crashing down on
him as Ariel told him the truth that had been buried together with the
shipwreck 21 years ago.
After
being left by Benedick, Beatrice went to Verona in hopes of explaining and
proving her innocence to her beloved. But as she stepped foot on the castle,
she felt something very wrong. So she ran. She ran so fast and at last, she saw
the dead body of her father. She cried and wailed. But then something struck
her and she suddenly feared of what might have happened to Benedick. She stood
up, and moved her numb legs, not even quite noticing of fast she was running.
She saw the door on the ballroom where she first saw Benedick slightly open.
Her heart was drumming inside her chest. She picked up her speed and alas, she
reached the door and opened it.
She
stood there and saw the greatest horror she could ever imagine. In the center
of the room was Benedick laying limp with blood pooling over his body. She didn't
skip a beat; she quickly darted toward him and fell on her knees. She cradled
his head on her lap and asked him to wake up. Slowly and weakly, Benedick
opened his eyes and tears started to fall from them.
“It's my fault. I didn't save him.” he said
weakly, barely a whisper.
“No, it's not. I love you.”
“I love you too. Much more than life. But our
love more powerful than the stars is also more impossible to touch, for it is
forbidden. It is forbidden, my dear twin sister...”
He took his one last breath
and died in her arms.
Beatrice, painfully shocked of her love’s dying message,
took the dagger out of Benedick’s body and said “Oh, sweet dagger, take away
all of the sorrow. Let my body be your sheath…” Without
second thinking, she stabbed herself and her body lay above the body of
Benedick.
The citizens of the kingdom went inside and saw
the dead bodies of Beatrice, Benedick, and King Capulet. They found a note that
was seemingly glowing saying the events that perspired for the last days.
Paris, who also entered the castle, saw light figure over the bodies. Paris
doesn’t know why but he feels that the light figure is crying.
The figure then walks of out of the door, its true appearance revealed. “It’s finally over; I guess it’s time,
after 21 years, our family can be reunited again, in the sky. Benedick, I hope
you don’t get mad at me for not telling you the truth sooner, I had my reasons
but at least now, we can enjoy the happiness of forever.”

Fair and Foul - Is One Another?
"Fair is foul, and foul is fair." This line was spoken by the three witches in Act I, scene 1 of Macbeth. This line was said to foreshadow upcoming events. The line contradicts itself since fair means equality while foul means ugliness. It is the same with saying that good is bad and bad is good, or right is wrong, and wrong is right.
This means that one side is the side of the other. It also means that one cannot be sure if something is good or bad since something good can be bad for another and vice versa. It is like you're doing good for somebody but at the same time, you're hurting and stepping on someone unknowingly. It's bringing something up as you put them down.
Hearing this line reminded me of an experience I had before. It was about the time I defended my old friend. One of my classmates was teasing my friend and my friend was really hurt of what he was saying, so I defended her by saying mean stuff to the one teasing. After that, all of us left and my friend was really thankful of what I did because it made her happy but then I saw the one who teased my friend the next day sad and not his usual self. I tried talking to him and he said he was hurt of what I said before. I didn't really mean to say bad things but my friend was about to cry so I tried to do a right thing. I should have chosen a less hurting way to solve their problem. I really didn't know that he could get hurt from something like that. After that, we asked for forgiveness from each other and we became happy again.
Another experience I had was with my best friend. It was the giving of cards and I was one of the top students and my best friend is also part of the top. She would always be higher than me but is time, things were different. I got higher than her. This made me really happy but then as I went to see my best friend, she was crying and I instantly thought that it was about the grades. She was really hurt and I was really confused. Why were we crying? Is it my fault? Is it her fault? Did I do something wrong or right? Is everything a competition? All of this was running through my head and what's worse was that my other best friends were on the side of the one I got a higher grade. No one was with me and I was about to cry set an end all of the fight and awkwardness, I asked for forgiveness even though I'm not sure if I should do that. I was just scared of losing my best friends so I did something that I myself don't know if it is right or wrong. I told my best friend that there is still next grading and that there is still a chance for her to get up.
As you can see, I really had this kind of experiences. Moments that I will treasure for this can be the only memories left with my best friends since we are in different schools now. The world is really a confusing thing. Let's just think things through before we do something so that we will do things that will benefit all of us without hurting others.

Climax - A Midsummer Night's Dream
First of all, "A Midsummer Night's Dream" is yet another play written by the amazing Shakespeare. "A Midsummer Night's Dream" is a play about fairies and mortals wherein the mortals have a problem about love where one loves the other but the other doesn't while the fairies are the ones trying to fix the problem but at first, failed miserably. They do resolve the conflict and the play ends with a happy note. For me, the part with the most intensity was Act III, Scene 2.
In Act III, Scene 2, Puck realizes his mistake. He enchanted the wrong man because they saw Demetrius and Hermia together, not Demetrius and Helena. Oberon then commands Puck to fix the mess. Meanwhile, Demetrius gets tired of Hermia so he falls asleep while Hermia goes away. Puck then finds Demetrius and pours the love potion on his eyelids and Hermia, together with Lysander, who was still pledging his love to her (because of the potion), enters angry that Lysander is mocking her. Demetrius is awakened and he sees Helena so he falls in love with her. Helena then believes that they are mocking her.
Hermia then enters and sees that Lysander and Demetrius are declaring their love for Helena. Hermia gets angry and Helena thinks that Hermia was also mocking her. The two men suddenly get ready to fight each other for Helena's love. Hermia then holds Lysander back. Hermia then says to Helena that she stole Lysander from her by using her height since Helena is tall and Hermia is short. Hermia gets angry with Helena and threatens to hurt her eyes. Helena gets scared since she knows that Hermia is quicker in fighting. The two men the vow to protect Helena but they get angry and storm off to have a duel. Helena runs away and Hermia gets amused of what happened and leaves.
Oberon then orders Puck to stop the fight of the two men. Puck stops the fight by confusing the two men by using their voices until they are lost.
As you can see, this scene is really intense. They exchanged harmful words and all of them were really confused. Especially the scene where the two girls were revealing stuff they didn't tell each other about. It made the scene really thrilling and intriguing because we know that they are not affected in any spells yet they are giving out harsh words.
The play is a little bit confusing because there are many sub plots so no one can really tell which part is the climax. But you know what, it doesn't matter since the play was really good, at least for me, since I really like magic and all things related to it. The play has a lot of lessons and values to get that we should also apply in our life.

Forgetting - is Forgiving?
"The best way to forgive, is to forget." This is a lesson in William Shakespeare's plays, The Tempest. It means that to forgive a person, one must stop remembering or feeling pain to the person who committed a mistake.
I had this experience before. I had a fight with my sister, Katryn. We had a little conflict because she was joking around and her jokes were already hurtful so I hit her in the shoulder. This happened when we were in a car, going back from the mall. My mother got mad at me but I was trying to say that it was her fault. There was awkwardness inside the car even as we reached home. We didn't talk. We went upstairs and we went on like the other wasn't there, like we don't exist for each other. But as time passed, I just noticed that we were talking again, being friendly and asking for each other for help at the same day. This really shows how I used forgetting as a way to forgive.
For me, I think it is a good method since we don't need words to feel that the pain is gone since we already know in ourselves that we have forgiven each other. We didn't need words, or more accurately, a confirmation of friendship again. Sometimes, we forgive but it is not really from the heart. There might still be pain, sadness, and hate so what is the use of forgiving. We choose to forget what has been done since we already know that everything is okay and that everything is in the past. There is a more sense of trust between the two persons since they already felt that it is not needed to be discussed anymore. Yes, even though it had a big effect on you, you , yourself, knows that there is nothing you can do to it but accept it because that is just how life goes. Things come and go and you accept them and learn from them since that is what God has given to you. If you really learned from something like a mistake, you should have already used it to yourself and not keep it since if you did really learn from it, why did you save it and just use it later on? But of course, save those really special ones, because they are the moments that had shaped you the way you are. Never forget those who helped you in your journey and it never hurts to reminisce on things.
To put it shortly, I also forget to forgive.

A Choice - Brains or Brawns
In our world, students are classified into different ways. One of the ways to classify students are if they are either intelligent but not sporty or sporty but not intelligent. Athletes are probably the ones physically fit and can do a lot of sports. They have a strong body and they can use it to their advantage against the enemy. They are usually more popular than students with high academic intelligence. Meanwhile, academic inclined students are very knowledgeable at the different subjects but not all of them are fit or good at sports, or generally, things that we do using our bodies. These kind of people are the ones commonly bullied because they are also known as "nerds". One person would have to choose if they will pursue their brain or their brawn. Although different, they also have similarities. Both "nerds" and "jocks" need determination, dedication, perseverance, and hard work to achieve success in the path they have chosen. Just like the rest of the things in life, one can not get what they want in an instant. They both need to face hardships and challenges before they get to the peak of life.
If I were given a chance to reset my life and choose between either brains or brawns, I would choose brains which is like who am I now. I will choose brains since I am likely to have a better future with this. Some athletes weren't able to pursue their goals. Even a slight mistake of an athlete can already destroy his career since mistakes can already lead to aches, broken parts, and more. Another reason why I chose to be academically inclined is because I can use the knowledge I will gain to excel at other fields. Even a wimpy person can win against a big and strong person if one uses a strategy that will surely lead them to victory.
Brains or brawns? Nothing of it really matters. As long as you love what you're doing and you're not stepping on anyone to be successful, then go do what you want. We have to learn to accept the things God has given. We have to nurture it, take care of it, and let it grow. We should always use our God-given gifts to help other people, our country, our world. Even though it is unfair, we have to pursue what we have and face our destiny.

A Prayer - For the Victims
An Everlasting Power
Almighty God, Creator of the Universe
In Your glory, this is where we will immerse
You are the mightiest and strongest of them all
You are the one that always saves us when we fall
We apologize for all the wrongs we have done
For the sins we have committed in the long run
We wish forgiveness from You and Your Holiness
We are truly sorry, our minds full of regrets
O God, thank You for all of the blessings You gave
All of us are thanking You for making us brave
You are the one who has guided us from the start
All of us are really thanking You from the heart
Lord God, we are asking for Your glory again
Please help all of those who are suffering in vain
Please give them a new start, a new life, a rebirth
So that we could live in bliss and delight in Earth
Typhoon Maring had caused lots of houses destroyed
Please do not let them be absorbed by the dark void
Please give the victims of the storm Your sacred light
To all of us, so that we could survive the fight
Typhoon Maring had caused lots of houses destroyed
Please do not let them be absorbed by the dark void
Please give the victims of the storm Your sacred light
To all of us, so that we could survive the fight
Thank You again for being our sanctuary
During severe times when things get really scary
We write to You this prayer, in our hands with pen
This is what we all ask, in Jesus' name, Amen.

I thought before that Dennis only use me to his toy but sooner and later I’m realize that he really can’t not beared or stomached to be with you anymore because at first, Dennis say he could not stand you’re habit of making pakialam all his walks (lakad) and always calling to their house what he got home or this or that.

And then he say he get ashame to me either in school or in his family and then asking you to exercise you’re very very, very fat body. But you hate it. Thought you’re the most preetiest girls he knows about. What do you think you are “ BeautifulGirl” of Jose Mari Chan?
Even you are beautiful face ( to your think) you do not have the right to called me whatsoever or else difference name one time or the other for the real purposed to insults my personality because I’m never call you names either in the front of Dennis or in the backs of Dennis, but if you start already to calling me different name, I don’t have any other choice but to call you other different name to. Like you are a PIG, FAT, OBESSED, OVERWIGHT, AND UGLY SHAPE girl. Shame to you’re body that is to a BUDING.
You can’t not blame Dennis for exchanging you to me because I am the more sexier that you when you look to us in the mirror. I’m repeat again that you are like Lozada when she is a girl.
Love,

P.S.
You say that I’m the bad breathe but who is Dennis want to kissed. Me or you? And the final is me. There you go.
Reading the letter made my head ache. It was full of grammatical and spelling errors and it was very hard to understand. It took me more than two times to understand what the girl wants to say. From my understanding, the girl who wrote the letter is the new lover of Dennis, who had a former lover named Marjorie. Dennis left Marjorie because Marjorie is fat and the writer of the letter compares herself to Marjorie.
My revised version of the letter is below:

October 1996,
To Marjorie
I am not surprised of the reason why Dennis left you. Why? What reason can you think of but you’re very fat body? Before, I thought that Dennis only used me as his toy but later on, I realized that he can't bear being with you anymore because first, Dennis says he could not stand you’re habit of meddling with all of his trips and second, you're always calling their house asking what time he got home.

And then Dennis said to me that he was ashamed of you both in school and his family. He asked you to exercise but you don't want to. You think that you are the prettiest woman Dennis knows? Who do you think you are, the “Beautiful Girl” of Jose Mari Chan?
Even though you think that you are beautiful, you do not have the right to call me names just to insult me because I never called you names in front or behind Dennis. Well, if you start calling me names, I don't have any other choice but to call you names too like PIG, FATTY, OBESE, OVERWEIGHT, AND GIRL WITH AN UGLY SHAPE. Blogging ~ Our Informal Theme
Before, when we were in our younger years, we also had an informal theme. We wrote our compositions in our notebook and our teacher would check it but this year, it was different. We had to do our informal themes using a blog. I really loved the idea and it made me feel happy that we will type and post our compositions through this.
For me, a blog is some sort of outlet where we can express our thoughts, insights, feelings, and other more. A blog is defined as a site consisting of entries or posts shown in reverse chronological order, the recent posts appear first. Even before I reached high school, I already had an idea of what a blog is because I have been searching a lot of things in google related to games and I always saw them having ".blogspot.com" at their URLs. I was thinking to myself, how can I make one? Will I learn how to use it in the future? All of them were answered at my first year where we had a little discussion about blogs in our computer class.
I already knew that blogging will be fun and interesting so I was really excited when I found out that we will use blogs to place our compositions. It really lifted me up: there will be no informal theme notebooks that will be hard to do. I will admit it, I was shocked when we didn't need an informal theme notebook but I was really happy about it and was even more happier when we had to do it in blogs.
I prefer blogs much more because in blogs, I can show who I really am by putting designs, pictures, music, and other more. One can also easily organize their thoughts, well at least for me, in blogs. There was no pressure while doing the blog unlike in informal theme notebooks, there is a time limit and you are limited to only what you can write. I could express more my feelings instead of just writing them in a piece of paper that might even get forgotten. The internet is forever and it will last for centuries and the blogs we made will still be there alive unless we delete our blogs which is a really horrible idea because blogs hold certain memories. In blogs, I could also look at my classmates' blogs and posts. Seeing there posts makes me feel like I know them more and deeper. It's like I am connected to them. Another great thing about this is because of my handwriting. My handwriting is not really that good and I like it so much better when we just type and type.
We are living in the future. We should embrace technology. We should leave those papers and pens. I mean, this is what it should do, right? We use technology to make our lives easier. What is technology for if we won't use it and stick with the items used before. The world is really evolving. Did you ever think that maybe we will use what cavemen have used before? No right? It is because of advancement and change. Change really is the only permanent thing in the world so we should embrace change because that is a part of life. I hope that in the future, especially in fourth year, if we will have an informal theme, we will still use blogs.

Recital ~ A Birth of a Pianist
“Don't
cry because it's over, smile because it happened.” This line was said by Dr. Seuss,
an amazing author. Life is a theatre, as we grow, we take chances given to us
by life and we try our best to go in with the flow of the scene but sometimes
it just does not harmonize with life and we fall to our knees and try to give
up and as we reach the ending part of the performance, we feel sad for the
flaws during the performance but that is not how life should be. We should be
happy that we were brave enough to take the chance because life is all about
taking chances and even if we don’t know what will happen. This was my feeling
during my first piano recital many years ago.
First
of all, I was really interested in music, especially the piano and this was
what has lead my parents to making me take up lessons in the piano. I had an
amazing teacher and she taught me well. There were times that she was strict
and scary but those were the moments that made me feel that she really loves
music and wants me to learn it with all my heart. We had our lessons every end
of classes. It was this time that I was waiting for each day. I was really
happy when she said that I, together with my friends, will have a recital to be
held at Ceferina.
We
practiced really hard and there were even times when my teacher and I were
having misunderstandings. I was feeling confident that I will be able to do
this but as each day built into the recital day, I became nervous and like I
was in a state of trance, I was already standing in front of the venue. As I
step into the area filled with fancy items, the grand piano stood out to me
like a sore thumb. There was no running away from all of this. Several
performances were done and it was now my turn to do my piece. “This is really
it”, I said to myself.
As
I walk to the grand piano, so many eyes were looking at me. I felt very nervous
like a mistake will make everyone leave. I lay my cold hands on the piano and
started playing it. I was feeling nervous but I tried to make music with all of
my heart but I still made several mistakes even with of all of the practice. I
finally finished and I was barely breathing. I was really depressed but I saw a
light. The light was my family, my best friends, and my classmates who were
there to support me. They made me feel that it was okay to commit mistakes and
that is a part of life. They taught me that this will lead to a bigger success
and because of that, I learned to be brave. I learned how to face the crowd and
not to forget all of the people who were there to give me courage. If I didn’t
have this experience, maybe I would be an introvert and maybe I wouldn’t be
able to play the piano in front of a crowd.
Life
really is full of challenges and we either take it or leave it. There is no
harm in trying and even if we succeed or not, there will always be a lesson
that we can learn. Life is really a theatre, what matters is the effort we gave
to make the performance successful. After everything, we shouldn’t cry because
it was over, we should smile and be happy that we were even able to stand up
from the fear and do all things with all of our soul.

I ~ To Be or Not to Be
![]() |
| "Take it or leave it?" |
It all started when were picking. We already had a candidate for the Ms. Eartchwatch, who was Roxanne Reyes, but for the Mr. Eartwatch, no one was volunteering. We were having a hard time and I at first I was saying "No, I don't want to be the candidate" but deep inside, I was like "Please choose me, I want to try it. I will do my best." Maybe the reason I had doubts was because I will fail the expectations of my classmates. We might lose and I might bring shame to our class but then this came. One my classmates asked me again, "Can you be our candidate?" This was the moment of no return. I said "If no one really wants to be our candidate, then I will." This was the moment my heart almost exploded. Then the guy who said that to me was like "Hey, everybody. Jonaz is our candidate." So, it wasn't technically volunteering because if they didn't ask me, I would just let them be.
My heart was relieved after this moment. Each day just built up until the moment we prepared our clothes and I practiced my piece. I was debating with myself if I should use three instruments or just one but I was like since I already have been playing one instrument, the piano, before, it is time to show my hard word with the violin and flute. I didn't know what to do since while I was practicing, I could already feel the disappointment of my classmates. I could feel them saying we won't win or like failure is ahead but I just left them be and I did what I felt like doing and didn't want them to affect what I do. The clothes I will wear were also prepared already, all we have to do is wait for the actual day and like it was only yesterday, here it comes.
The program began and my heart was throbbing. This was really the moment I have been waiting for. We did the introduction and other stuff then here comes the talent portion. It was a big FAILURE, like seriously. I have been practicing all day but it still failed but my classmates were really nice to me. My classmates kept on cheering me while I was on stage. It made me feel the truth that winning isn't what I wanted, what I really wanted was support from my classmates even for a little while. Then we showcased the clothes we made from recycled materials. We were left standing on the stage for I think half an our or so. It was really tiring but I tried to give a smile to everybody who were there supporting me just like my family and my classmates even when my pants ripped already. I and Roxanne wasn't chosen in the top to participate in the Q&A portion of the program but it was okay. It was really fun and for once, I felt my classmates' support. I received an award and it was Mr. Popular and my partner, Roxanne, also got Ms. Popular. Even days after the event, I was still a bit disappointed with myself but my classmates said that it was really okay that we didn't win then after just a while, I was able to move on but I will never forget that day when it all started, then the event itself, until the aftermath. It is a moment I have engraved in my heart and it will last until the end of time because even when I lost, I still won.
So as you see, with life, comes obstacles. The two of them are one together. They could never be separated. As a quote says, "It is better to die trying than regretting not trying at all" or something like that. I don't really remember. They say that ignorance is a bliss but I beg to differ. Well, yeah, it may seem like a bliss but what comes after is paralyzing agony from regret. I already tried ignorance before but I was full of regret and hatred for myself. Life is all about taking risks. Nothing will happen to you if you will just ignore so no matter big are the odds, we should learn to gamble and put ourselves on the line. Even if we make mistakes, we learn new lessons, get new ideas to be better and until we win the biggest obstacle ever, which is life.

ICT ~ Enabling Dreams
![]() |
| Enabling Dreams |
As you can see, the picture I made is a laptop with icons in a vine-like structure coming out of its screen. I made this picture because first of all, the laptop or more generally, the computer, is one of the gadgets that have helped me in my life. It has helped me learn new abilities and skills. In the computer, through accessing the internet, one can go to several websites where one can communicate to their loved ones, watch videos that will make one learn new things or get relaxed. You are probably asking why are the icons like that. Well, I'll tell you and it is because it just shows how what we see in the screen can affect the outside world. One of them was the once viral video of "Gangnam Style" and the memes. It also shows how fast it advances.
As a student, it has really helped me very much. I was able to research a lot of things. I was also able to develop new skills such as editing, and painting using softwares. The software found in it also helped me just like the MS Word as it saved a lot of time for me in doing projects instead of doing them the old traditional way.
Technology can really enable dreams. They may have bad effects but who knows, maybe one day, we could use technology to get rid of the pollution in our world. Before, we only dreamed of this things but now, they are here. What more do you think will happen in the future? See, my friends, ICT is the key to advancement of the society.

Romeo and Juliet ~ Still a Tragic Love Story
![]() |
| An everlasting love. |
ROMEO
(ROMEO opens the tomb to reveal JULIET inside.)
A grave? Oh no! This is a lantern, dead Paris. Juliet lies here, and her beauty fills this tomb with light. Dead men, lie there. You are being buried by another dead man. (he lays PARIS in the tomb)How often are men happy right before they die! They call it the lightness before death. Oh, how can I call this lightness? Oh, my love! My wife! Death has sucked the honey from your breath, but it has not yet ruined your beauty. You haven’t been conquered. There is still red in your lips and in your cheeks. Death has not yet turned them pale. Tybalt, are you lying there in your bloody death shroud? Oh, what better favor can I do for you than to kill the man who killed you with the same hand that made you die young. Forgive me, cousin! Ah, dear Juliet, why are you still so beautiful? Should I believe that death is in love with you, and that the awful monster keeps you here to be his mistress? I don’t like that idea, so I’ll stay with you. And I will never leave this tomb. Here, here I’ll remain with worms that are your chamber-maids. Oh, I’ll rest here forever. I’ll forget about all the bad luck that has troubled me. Eyes, look out for the last time! Arms, make your last embrace! And lips, you are the doors of breath. Seal with a righteous kiss the deal I have made with death forever. (ROMEO kisses JULIET and takes out the poison) Come, bitter poison, come, unsavory guide! You desperate pilot, let’s crash this sea-weary ship into the rocks! Here’s to my love!
(JULIET wakes up and sees ROMEO)
JULIET
Romeo, my love!
ROMEO
Juliet, you live! Hath grief profoundly warped my brain? Is this a cruel creation of my own mourning mind? (ROMEO throws the poison aside) It does not matter. For candid or ersatz, I love you.
JULIET
As do I, my Romeo. But what was that vial you were holding?
(Noises are heard outside)
ROMEO
It matters not. Let us make haste. Let's go out to a place far far away. There, we will live forever in peace, undisturbed. The watchmen are coming. Let us pass through the forest.
(ROMEO grabs JULIET and runs outside. Enter watchmen)
CHIEF WATCHMAN
Who goes there? Halt! After them!
JULIET
Rain? why now?
ROMEO
Hurry, Juliet. The watchmen are on our tails.
(CHIEF WATCHMAN reaches JULIET)
CHIEF WATCHMAN
Avast! Daughter of the great Capulet? How could this be? And dear me, is that the son of Montague?
JULIET
Unhand me! I said let me go!
CHIEF WATCHMAN
It is your birth that wronged you, maiden, not I.
ROMEO
Let go of her! (ROMEO pulls out his knife and stabs CHIEF WATCHMAN)
JULIET
Oh my!
ROMEO
Leave him be, fair Juliet. Let us go.
CHIEF WATCHMAN
You're not going anywhere! (CHIEF WATCHMAN grabs onto ROMEO's leg) How dare you betray your bloodline! (CHIEF WATCHMAN pulls the knife from his chest and stabs into ROMEO's foot) There is nowhere to run! My men are coming! (CHIEF WATCHMAN dies)
ROMEO
Argh!
JULIET
No, Romeo!
ROMEO
Leave, my love. Let me rot in this unholy place.
JULIET
But--
ROMEO
Leave now! Save yourself! (JULIET hides near as the other watchmen come)
WATCHMAN #1
There is Romeo!
WATCHMAN #2
Kill him! (The watchman pulls out his knife)
JULIET
No!
(JULIET shields ROMEO and gets stabbed)
ROMEO
Juliet! No!
JULIET
I love you, Romeo. A heart displaying such braveness, such kindness should be able to beat unceasingly. Farewell.
ROMEO
No, Juliet! Don't leave me!
(JULIET dies)
ROMEO
Why did this happen to me? (ROMEO pulls out the sword from his foot) I will kill you all! I will show no mercy! (ROMEO kills the other watchmen) That's the last of them. (ROMEO walks to Juliet's corpse) Juliet why did this happen to you? Why is this happening to me? I will carry you out of this unholy place. (Bloody ROMEO carries Juliet's body and tries to walk out of the forest) I am rid of my ability to walk but I must save my Juliet. I can feel death drowning me in its icy breath. This is how it ends, I fall lifeless beside Juliet mine. I would not die any other way. (ROMEO kisses Juliet) Goodbye, cruel world.
(ROMEO dies)

Romeo and Juliet ~ A Tragic Love Story
![]() |
| A tragedy |
The ending of Romeo and Juliet has what touched people most, the deaths of the two lovers. The ending of Rome and Juliet is as follows:
(PARIS enters with his PAGE.)
PARIS
Give me your torch, boy. Go away and stay apart from me. Put the torch out, so I can’t be seen. Hide under the yew-trees over there. Listen to make sure no one is coming through the graveyard. If you hear any one, whistle to me to signal that someone is approaching. Give me those flowers. Do as I tell you. Go.
(The PAGE puts out the torch and gives PARIS the flowers.)
PAGE
(to himself) I am almost afraid to stand alone here in the graveyard, but I’ll take the risk.
(The PAGE moves aside)
PARIS
(he scatters flowers at JULIET’s closed tomb)
(he scatters flowers at JULIET’s closed tomb)
Sweet flower, I’m spreading flowers over your bridal bed. Oh, pain! Your canopy is dust and stones. I’ll water these flowers every night with sweet water. Or, if I don’t do that, my nightly rituals to remember you will be to put flowers on your grave and weep.
(The PAGE whistles)
The boy is warning me that someone approaches. Who could be walking around here tonight? Who’s ruining my rituals of true love?
It’s someone with a torch! I must hide in the darkness for awhile.
(PARIS hides in the darkness. ROMEO and BALTHASAR enter with a torch, a pickax, and an iron crowbar.)
ROMEO
Give me that pickax and the crowbar. (he takes them from BALTHASAR) Here, take this letter. Early in the morning deliver it to my father. (he gives the letter to BALTHASAR) Give me the light. (he takes the torch from BALTHASAR) Swear on your life, I command you, whatever you hear or see, stay away from me and do not interrupt me in my plan. I’m going down into this tomb of the dead, partly to behold my wife’s face. But my main reason is to take a precious ring from her dead finger. I must use that ring for an important purpose. So go on your way. But if you get curious and return to spy on me, I swear I’ll tear you apart limb by limb and spread your body parts around to feed the hungry animals in the graveyard. My plan is wild and savage. I am more fierce in this endeavor than a hungry tiger or the raging sea.
BALTHASAR
I’ll go, sir, and I won’t bother you.
ROMEO
That’s the way to show me friendship. Take this.(he gives BALTHASAR money) Live and be prosperous. Farewell, good fellow
BALTHASAR
(speaking so that only PARIS can hear)
Despite what I said, I’ll hide nearby. I’m frightened by the look on his face, and I have doubts about his intentions.
BALTHASAR moves aside and falls asleep.
ROMEO
(speaking to the tomb)
You horrible mouth of death! You’ve eaten up the dearest creature on Earth. Now I’m going to force open your rotten jaws and make you eat another body.
(ROMEO begins to open the tomb with his tools)
(ROMEO begins to open the tomb with his tools)
PARIS
(speaking so that ROMEO can’t hear)
It’s that arrogant Montague, the one who’s been banished. He’s the one who murdered my love’s cousin Tybalt. They think she died with grief for that cousin. This guy has come here to commit awful crimes against the dead bodies. I’ll catch him.
(to ROMEO)
Stop your evil work, vile Montague! Can you take revenge on dead bodies? Condemned villain, I’ve caught you. Obey and come with me. You must die.
ROMEO
I must indeed. That’s why I came here. Good and noble young man, don’t mess with someone who’s desperate. Get away from here and leave me. Think about the ones who have died. Let them put fear in your heart. Please, young man, don’t make me angry. I don’t want to commit another crime. Oh, go away! I swear, I love you more than I love myself. For I’ve come here with weapons to use against myself. Don’t stay here, go away. Live, and from now on, say a madman mercifully told you to run away.
PARIS
I refuse your request. I’m arresting you as a criminal.
ROMEO
Are you going to provoke me? Alright, let’s fight, boy!
(ROMEO and PARIS fight.)
PAGE
Oh Lord, they’re fighting! I’ll go call the watch.
(The PAGE exits.)
(he falls) Oh, I’ve been killed! If you are merciful, open the tomb and lay me next to Juliet.
(PARIS dies.)
ROMEO
Alright, I will. Let me look at this face. It’s Mercutio’s relative, noble Count Paris! What did my man say? I was worried, so I wasn’t listening to him while we were riding. I think he told me Paris was about to marry Juliet. Isn’t that what he said? Or was I dreaming? Or am I crazy? Did I hear him say something about Juliet and jump to conclusions? Oh, give me your hand. Both of us had such bad luck! I’ll bury you in a magnificent grave.
(ROMEO opens the tomb to reveal JULIET inside.)
A grave? Oh no! This is a lantern, dead Paris. Juliet lies here, and her beauty fills this tomb with light. Dead men, lie there. You are being buried by another dead man. (he lays PARIS in the tomb
How often are men happy right before they die! They call it the lightness before death. Oh, how can I call this lightness? Oh, my love! My wife! You desperate pilot, let’s crash this sea-weary ship into the rocks! Here’s to my love!
(ROMEO drinks the poison.)
Oh, that pharmacist was honest! His drugs work quickly. So I die with a kiss.
(ROMEO dies.)
(FRIAR LAWRENCE enters with a lantern, crowbar, and shovel.)
FRIAR LAWRENCE
Saint Francis, help me! How often tonight have my old feet stumbled on gravestones! Who’s there?
BALTHASAR
I’m a friend, a friend who knows you well.
FRIAR LAWRENCE
God bless you! Tell me, my good friend, what is that light over there? The one that vainly lights up the darkness for worms and skulls without eyes? It looks to me like it’s burning in the Capulet tomb.
BALTHASAR
That is where it’s burning, father. My master is there. The one you love.
FRIAR LAWRENCE
Who is it?
BALTHASAR
Romeo.
FRIAR LAWRENCE
How long has he been there?
BALTHASAR
For a full half hour.
FRIAR LAWRENCE
Go with me to the tomb.
BALTHASAR
I don’t dare, sir. My master doesn’t know I’m still here. He threatened me with death if I stayed to look at what he was doing.
FRIAR LAWRENCE
Say, then. I’ll go alone. I’m suddenly afraid. Oh, I’m very scared something awful has happened.
BALTHASAR
As I slept under this yew-tree here, I had a dream that my master and someone else were fighting and that my master killed him.
FRIAR LAWRENCE
(approaching the tomb)
Romeo! Oh no! What is this blood that stains the stony entrance of this tomb? Why are these bloody swords lying here, abandoned by their masters? Next to this place of peace?
(he looks inside the tomb)
Romeo! Oh, he’s pale! Who else? What, Paris too? And he’s covered in blood? Ah, when did these horrible things happen? The lady’s moving.
(JULIET wakes up.)
JULIET
Oh friendly friar! Where is my husband? I remember very well where I should be, and here I am. Where is my Romeo?
(A noise sounds from outside the tomb.)
FRIAR LAWRENCE
I hear some noise. Lady, come out of the tomb. A greater power than we can fight has ruined our plan. Come, come away. Your husband lies dead there, and Paris too. Come, I’ll place you among the sisterhood of holy nuns. Don’t wait to ask questions. The watch is coming. Come, let’s go, good Juliet, I don’t dare stay any longer.
JULIET
Go, get out of here. I’m not going anywhere.
(FRIAR LAWRENCE exits.)
What’s this here? It’s a cup, closed in my true love’s hand? Poison, I see, has been the cause of his death. How rude! He drank it all, and didn’t leave any to help me afterward. I will kiss your lips. Perhaps there’s still some poison on them, to make me die with a medicinal kiss. (she kisses ROMEO) Your lips are warm.
(WATCHMEN and PARIS’s PAGE enter.)
CHIEF WATCHMAN
(coming to the PAGE)
Lead, boy. Which way?
JULIET
Oh, noise? Then I’ll be quick. Oh, good, a knife! My body will be your sheath. Rust inside my body and let me die.
(she stabs herself with ROMEO’s dagger and dies)
PAGE
This is the place. There, where the torch is burning.
CHIEF WATCHMAN
The ground is bloody. Search the graveyard. Go, some of you, arrest whoever you find.
(Some WATCHMEN exit.)
This is a pitiful sight! The count is dead. Juliet is bleeding. Her body is warm, and she seems to have been dead only a short time, even though she has been buried for two days. Go, tell the Prince. Run to the Capulets. Wake up the Montagues. Have some others search.
(Some other WATCHMEN exit in several directions.)
(The SECOND WATCHMAN reenters with BALTHASAR.)
SECOND WATCHMAN
Here’s Romeo’s man. We found him in the churchyard.
CHIEF WATCHMAN
Hold him in custody until the Prince gets here.
(The THIRD WATCHMAN re-enters with FRIAR LAWRENCE.)
THIRD WATCHMAN
Here is a friar who’s trembling, sighing and weeping. We took this pickax and this shovel from him, as he was walking from this side of the graveyard.
CHIEF WATCHMAN
Very suspicious. Hold the friar too.
(The PRINCE enters with ATTENDANTS.)
PRINCE
What crimes happen so early in the morning that I have to wake up before the usual time?
(CAPULET and LADY CAPULET enter.)
CAPULET
What’s the problem, that they cry out so loud?
LADY CAPULET
Some people in the street are crying “Romeo.” Some are crying “Juliet,” and some are crying “Paris.” They’re all running in an open riot toward our tomb.
PRINCE
What’s this awful thing that everyone’s crying about?
CHIEF WATCHMAN
Prince, here lies Count Paris killed. And Romeo dead. And Juliet. She was dead before, but now she’s warm and hasn’t been dead for long.
PRINCE
Investigate how this foul murder came about.
CHIEF WATCHMAN
Here is a friar, and dead Romeo’s man. They’ve got tools on them—tools they could use to open these tombs.
CAPULET
Oh heavens! Oh wife, look at how our daughter bleeds! That knife should be in its sheath on that Montague’s back, but instead it’s mis-sheathed in my daughter’s breast.
LADY CAPULET
Oh my! This sight of death is like a bell that warns me I’m old and I’ll die soon.
(MONTAGUE enters.)
PRINCE
Come, Montague. You’re up early to see your son down early.
MONTAGUE
Oh, my liege, my wife died tonight. Sadness over my son’s exile stopped her breath. What further pain must I endure in my old age?
PRINCE
Look, and you’ll see.
MONTAGUE
(seeing ROMEO's body)
Oh, you undisciplined boy! Where are your manners? It’s not right for a son to push past his father on his way to the grave.
PRINCE
Be quiet and hold back your remarks of outrage, until we can clear up these questions. We want to know how it started and what really happened. And then I’ll be the leader of pain, and maybe I’ll lead you as far as death. In the meantime, hold on, and be patient. Bring forth the men under suspicion.
FRIAR LAWRENCE
I am the greatest, but I was able to do the least. I am under the most suspicion, because I was here at the time of this awful murder. And here I stand, you can question me and punish me. I have already condemned and excused myself.
PRINCE
Tell us what you know about this affair.
FRIAR LAWRENCE
I will be brief because I’m not going to live long enough to tell a boring story. Romeo, who lies there dead, was the husband of that Juliet. And she, who lies there dead, was that Romeo’s faithful wife. I married them; their secret wedding day was the day Tybalt died. His untimely death caused the bridegroom to be banished from the city. Juliet was sad because Romeo was gone, not because of Tybalt’s death. To cure her sadness, you arranged a marriage for her with Count Paris. Then she came to me, and, looking wild, she asked me to devise a plan to get her out of this second marriage. She threatened to kill herself in my cell if I didn’t help her. So I gave her a sleeping potion that I had mixed with my special skills. It worked as planned. She seemed to everyone to be dead.
In the meantime I wrote to Romeo and told him to come here on this awful night to help remove her from her temporary grave when the sleeping potion wore off. But the man who carried my letter, Friar John, was held up by an accident. Last night he gave me the letter back. So I came here alone at the hour when she was supposed to wake up. I came to take her out of her family’s tomb, hoping to hide her in my cell until I could make contact with Romeo. But by the time I got here, just a few minutes before Juliet woke up, Paris and Romeo were already dead. She woke up, and I asked her to come out of the tomb with me and endure this tragedy with patience. But then a noise sent me running scared from the tomb. She was too desperate to come with me, and it seems that she killed herself. I know all of this. And her Nurse knows about the marriage too. If any part of this tragedy is my fault, let my old life be sacrificed and let me suffer the most severe punishment.
PRINCE
We have always known you to be a holy man. Where’s Romeo’s man? What does he have to say about this?
BALTHASAR
I brought my master news of Juliet’s death. And then he rode from Mantua here to this tomb.
(he shows a letter)
Earlier this morning he asked me to give this letter to his father. When he went into the vault, he threatened me with death if I didn’t leave him alone there.
PRINCE
Give me the letter. I’ll look at it.
(he takes the letter from BALTHASAR)
Where is the count’s page, the one who called the watch? Boy, what was your master doing here?
PAGE
He came with flowers to spread on his lady’s grave. And he asked me to stand far away and leave him alone, and so I did. Then someone with a torch came to open the tomb. So my master drew on him. And then I ran away to call the watch.
PRINCE
(skimming the letter)
This letter confirms the friar’s account. It describes the course of their love and mentions the news of her death. Here he writes that he bought poison from a poor pharmacist. He brought that poison with him to this vault to die and lie with Juliet. Where are these enemies? Capulet! Montague! Do you see what a great evil results from your hate? Heaven has figured out how to kill your joys with love. Because I looked the other way when your feud flared up, I’ve lost several members of my family as well. Everyone is punished.
CAPULET
Oh, brother Montague, give me your hand. This is my daughter’s dowry. I can ask you for nothing more.
MONTAGUE
But I can give you more. I’ll raise her statue in pure gold. As long as this city is called Verona, there will be no figure praised more than that of true and faithful Juliet.
CAPULET
The statue I will make of Romeo to lie beside his Juliet will be just as rich. They were poor sacrifices of our rivalry!
PRINCE
We settle a dark peace this morning. The sun is too sad to show itself. Let’s go, to talk about these sad things some more. Some will be pardoned, and some will be punished.
There was never a story more full of pain than the story of Romeo and Juliet.
(They all exit.)
~The End~
So this is the original ending of Romeo and Juliet. (To go to my modified ending click here.)
